Our Ongoing Mission
The mission of the Pan Am Museum Foundation
is to create a legacy for Pan American World Airways
by establishing a permanent Pan Am Museum
dedicated to commemorating its importance in aviation history.
We achieved this goal December 2016,
with the opening of our first exhibit, "Boeing 314: An Extraordinary Story"
More followed in 2017,
"Boeing 314: The Clippers Go To War"
"Boeing 377 : Stratocruiser"
And in 2018, "Boeing 707: A Fast Story" opened.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization,
incorporated in the State of New York,
registered with the New York State Charities Bureau.

The Pan Am Museum Foundation is dedicated
to preserving and exhibiting Pan American World Airways artifactsthat celebrate the history and extraordinary people that defined this American aviation company.
From its humble beginnings in 1927, Pan American World Airways grew to be the largest international air carrier in the United States,expanding its reach to all corners of the world.Grounded December 4, 1991, the Pan Am Legacy continues to live in the employees, friends and family and now through a new generation of aviation enthusiasts.
Please join us in our continuing quest to honor the Pan American World Airways experience, culture, achievements, people and places as we develop and continually grow this new home, this Pan Am Museum.
Founded by Pan Am Alumni, run by dedicated volunteers,
we hope to reach all Pan Am Family, Friends & Enthusiasts
and encourage you to visit The Legend, The History and The Adventure that Pan American World Airways still is.
